The background of the corporate social responsibility in the Lotteries and Gaming Board as an organization is aligned to section 53 (2) of the Lotteries and Gaming act chapter 10.26, which outlines that the entity should support socio economic development or initiatives in eight areas i.e. health, education, national museums and monuments, environment, registered civil organizations, sports and recreation, and artistic and cultural activities.
LGB Socio-Economic Responsibilities Around the Country
Located in the rurals of Nyanga District, the clinic is currently under construction, expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2026.
Located in Lupane District, the capital of Matabeleland North. Pupu Clinic was built and commissioned in 2025. The clinic was commissioned by His Excellency, the President of Republic of Zimbabwe Dr Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa.
The lotteries and Gaming Board funded the building of a classroom block at Kundayi Secondary School, Mashonaland Central, in the year 2025, the school has a large enrollment of students, this classroom block will help decongest learners. The block was completed in the year 2025 and is yet to be commisioned.

Mswenhede health facility was commissioned on the 18th of july 2025 by the Minister of Home Affairs and Cultural Heritage, Hon Cde Kazembe Kazembe
Kamungoma, the Lotteries and Gaming Board funded the construction and resuscitation of Kamungoma Memorial site in Gutu. The memorial site is a key drive in the honouring of the lives lost defending the sovereignty of Zimbabwe.
